What is the difference between a lace front and a full lace wigs?
A lace front wig has adjustable straps or stretch material in the back, and therefore cannot be worn in a high ponytail with the back showing. While the full lace wig is lace all around, and can be worn up in a high ponytail. Both wigs can be parted anywhere, anyhow, and both offer a natural look.

How long can the lace wig last?

Most lace wigs can last 8-10 months with proper care. It can last longer if you take good care of it

What is Yaki Texture?

Yaki texture is process we do to your wig that adds a micro kink to the hair strands to mimic black relaxed hair.

If you are Caucasian, you will not want to choose a Yaki Texture.

What are Bleached Knots?

Bleached knots is a technique where we bleach out the knot that is made when each strand of hair is hand-tied into the lace at the base of the cap.  It bleaches the knot out, making it a little lighter so that it does not stand out as much.  It gives it a more natural appearance as though the hairs are growing out of the scalp.  This is recommended when you choice a dark hair color.

Also note that even though you can achieve a more natural look with bleached knots, the bleach does weaken the knot which means you may experience shedding faster than in the other areas.  However our wigs are expertly hand made and with proper care should last for years with minimal shedding.

What color lace is best suited to my skin tone?

You want to match the lace color with your scalp complexion not your skin tone. This is because when you part the unit, you want it to appear as your natural scalp color. So to check your scalp color part your hair and look at the color of your scalp to determine your lace color.
Follow These Guidelines - Lace Choice Color:
Transparent: For White, Off White or Cream scalp tones.
Ie. Liv Tyler, Jessica Simpson, Jenna Jameson, Charlize Theron etc.
brown: For Light Beige or Beige scalp tones.
Ie: Ciara, Eva Mendez, Eva Longoria
Light Brown: For Light Brown scalp tones.
Ie. Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Alica Keys, Rihanna
Dark Brown: For Dark Brown scalp tones.
Ie. Naomi Campbell, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland

What is the difference between franch lace and swiss lace, which is better?

It really is a matter of preference. Swiss lace is finer, and more fragile, than French lace.  Swiss lace blends better with the skin for a less visible appearance. French lace is slightly thicker and more durable.

What is the difference between Lace Cap with Stretch and Lace Cap without Stretch?

These cap styles all have lace all around the perimeter and allows you to wear your hair in updos and high ponytails. When the caps are glued down, the wig will have a natural hairline all around the perimeter. The unit can be parted anywhere as you wish.

Lace Cap with Stretch has stretch in crown which makes it easier to adjust your head measurements. Lace Cap without Stretch doesn't have stretch. It can be used by women with no or scarce hair.

How is the length measured and how do I know what length to buy?

The length of our wigs is measured from the crown to the hair's tip (from front to back). The length of layered hairstyles will be described based on the length of the hair before styling. Use measuring tape to measure from the crown of your head to where you want the hair to fall.

How to take your measurements?

In order to buy the lace wigs which can perfectly fit you, you should take your measurements carefully. Before you measure, make sure to flatten your hair, use a cloth tape measure and do not pull the tape measure, just rest it over or around your head. Pulling stretches the tape and will give you the wrong size.
1. Circumference: Measure all around the head. Position tape measure so its edge follows the hair line around the head and nape of the neck.
2. Front to Nape: Measure from hairline at center of forehead straight back over crown to center of hairline at nape of neck.
3. Ear to Ear across forehead: At front of ear, measure from hairline at base of sideburn, up across the hair line along forehead to same point in front of other ear.
4. Ear to Ear over top: Measure from hairline directly above the ear across top of head to the hairline directly above the other ear.
5. Temple to Temple round back: From temple to temple across the back of head.
6. Nape of Neck: Measure the width of hairline across the nape of the neck.

Can I dye, perm or blow dry my wig?

You can re-style on our wigs in the same way as your own natural hair. Our wigs can be dyed, permed or heat treated, however, you should take great care on your wigs to avoid damage during treating.
It is recommended that you should choose favorite style and color when placing order for best match.

Can I wear a high ponytail?

Yes, you can wear your wig in a high ponytail once you apply around your full perimeter with adhesives. You will need a cap construction that is made with lace around the perimeter.
